There's something uniquely charming about maintaining a personal blog.
As a photographer and web developer, I tend to treat myself as my own brand on social media. I have a habit of carefully curating my Instagram and Twitter accounts to reflect professional accomplishments and show recent work, but I've been missing a platform to write about what's going on in my personal life. Facebook is okay for updates, but there's something more intimate and personal about writing about my life on my own terms.
So here it goes. I slightly modified the default Ghost theme to get me up and running, and as time goes on, I'll make more changes to the style and presentation of this blog – for now, I just need a place to write.
I intend to use this blog to write about life updates, music I'm listening to, stuff I'm making, and projects I'd like to begin with others.
I'm excited to see where this goes.
